Hi everyone it’s Cindy here. Today we are joining Dory with a Flower Friday post.
We are well now into a phase of color in our garden where most of the trees, shrubs and flowers are either pink or white so that is what I will show you today.
When the fringe tree is in bloom it looks like it is full of cotton candy.
As with any garden there are some things that just don’t make it after a hard winter. This year was no exception. Here are a couple of pictures of one of our new additions to the perennial garden.
We have a few pieces of sculpture and sometimes move them around a bit. Here is our German Shepherd Dog that is now among one of the perennial geranium.
I hope you enjoyed today’s stroll around our yard. Thanks for visiting.
the fringe tree is wonderful, he looks like a painting :o)
Goat’s Beard? The variety of Astilbe? In any case, it’s lovely, along with the rest of your garden!!!
Goats beard is not the same as astilbe although they look similar. Goats beard gets much bigger.
Your garden is beautiful but I especially like the Fringe Tree. I’ve never seen one of those before. Happy Friday!

Considering I supposedly live in the Rhodie state I don’t know that I see a lot (if any) white ones! I love the look of your garden. I can tell a ton of work goes into it and yet somehow it all looks so natural! Sam
What a peaceful stroll through the garden. Thank you so much for sharing.
I had never seen nor heard of a “fringe” tree before, so beautiful!

You really have a beautiful yard with so many things to look at, it would be hard for me to pick a favorite! The Fringe tree is one I’ve never seen before, and perennial geraniums are one of my favorites.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, take care!!
