Hi everyone it’s Millie & Walter here. We were so excited to sign up for Angel Jazzi’s Christmas Gift Exchange this year. We will tell you later about the gifts we gave but today it is all about the gifts we received.

These pressies look great Millie! Back off this is my box.

Back off this is my box.

First up let’s see what Millie got. I got some great pressies from my partner Duncan from the White Dog Blog.

Look at all this great stuff!

Here is my official sit next to your pressie picture.

Mom always makes us pose with stuff.

I may not look thrilled but really I am it’s just that I get nervous when mom makes me pose for pictures. Even though Duncan is a boy he sure knows how to shop for a girl like me. He even included a gift for our mom.

Let’s move on and see what Walter got from his exchange partner Edward from Two French Bulldogs.

How do I get this paper off?

How do I get this paper off?
Maybe we can lick it off?

We have to admit that both of us were a little wrapping paper challenged and had to have mom help us.

Thanks Edward! These are great pressies.

Thanks Edward! These are great pressies.

OMD look at the great pressies Edward got me. Did you notice that Millie and I got the same crinkle ball only different colors? Maybe Edward and Duncan shopped together.

Mom wanted to get official pictures of all our loot.

Those Ginger Bread Cookies smell great. Who cares about those cookies...I want that bone!

Those Gingerbeg Cookies smell great.

All we wanted was to sample some of those treats. First up were the Gingerbeg Cookies. You did read that right, they are called “Gingerbeg” and OMD do they ever make you beg for more.

Bring it on! These cookies are great!

Om Nom Nom Nom....

Om Nom Nom Nom….

Stingy mom only let us have one cookie each. Something about not wanting to upset our tummies if we ate the whole box or something. Oh well she did let us try one of the other treats we got.

Dried chicken breast strips! I love them!

This sure is drool worthy.

I’m in such a hurry to get it I’m blurry!

Both those treats were amazing. We had never had anything like them. Now we just have to get our mom to give us some more.

We can’t thank our partners Edward and Duncan enough. They picked perfect pressies for both of us. Also very big thanks to Angel Jazzi’s mom for organizing such a fun event.

Don’t forget to start sending us your stamps (some of you already have so thanks). Just leave a comment if you need our mailing address. We will give an update on our card count soon.

Hi everyone it’s Millie and Walter. Today we thought we would show you a quieter side of us. You’ve seen us playing hard so this is what we do after all the fun.

Millie Walter - Snuggling

We love this corner of our family room. Mom’s computer is right next to this and we have lots of windows to look out of to check on what is going on in our yard. Sometimes though all you can do is close your eyes and relax.

It might look like we are all rough and tumble when we are playing outside but inside we show our softer side. Have a peaceful Sunday everyone.

I’m taking my girl Tuiren. Don’t we look great in our matching scarves? Millie let Tui borrow it so we could wear coordinated outfits. Speaking of borrowing things…

Walter let Easy, Millie’s date, borrow his hat and sweater to help him stay warm. Don’t we make a cute couple? You should see the great ride Easy stopped by with to pick me up.

Hi everyone it’s Walter here! I wanted to give you an update on the Christmas Card count so far this year.

Walter models with the Christmas Cards

As you can see we are doing pretty good with all the cards we have received from all our friends. So far here are the totals:

Millie & Walter

29 Snail Mail cards

20 e-cards

Total Card Count – 49

Mom & Dad

10 6

Card Count Board

Here is the white board that mom keeps the card count on. Notice those question marks? Well those are there to indicate some very questionable cards. Let me explain. First let me show you exhibit A

Exhibit A - Card from Dell computers

Now I will show exhibit B.

Cornell Jewelers Christmas Card

Exhibit B – Cornell’s Jewelers Christmas Card

I don’t care how pretty a card is if it contains coupons to be used for your next purchase it does not count in the Christmas Card tally. Our pawrents have actually received a few legitimate cards from friends and family and a few of our furiends addressed the card to both Millie & I and our pawrents so we agreed to split those cards (hence the 1/2 cards in the counts). Our dad also tried to count an e-card he got from the auto repair shop but we said that was no good.

Can you pick out your card?

Can you pick out your card?

The bottom line is as usual we are kicking butt on our pawrents. We just love all the cards we have received either in the mail or by email and thank all our furiends for sending them to us. We love how pretty all the cards are and enjoy seeing all our furiends on them too.

Hi everyone! Today I’m pulling out a picture from the archives taken in September that I didn’t get around to showing you.

garden spider and prey BW - lr

click on the image to see a larger version

It is the spider whose web I showed you a while ago on a previous Black & White Sunday. When a prey lands in the spider web the spider rushes out to kill it while it is stuck in the web. After the prey dies the spider then wraps the prey in a neat little package that it can feed on later.

I’m sorry we haven’t been around commenting much but I have had a busy week of sewing projects. Some were gifts and others were orders from my Etsy shop. I hope to get around to visit everyone soon but know that I am at least reading all of your posts even though I might not be able to leave comments on all of them.

We are participating in the Black & White Sunday blog hop.

Hi everyone, it’s Walter here! Wow the Christmas cards are already rolling in and we want to say thanks to everyone we have received one from. Did you know that the stamps that come with all those cards can help the Retired Greyhound Trust across the pond? Yes they can! So we are asking you to Save Those Stamps! and send them to us.

Save Those Stamps Icon

You may remember that last year another blogger collected stamps for a charity in United Kingdom. She is no longer blogging but I didn’t want all our stamps to go to waste so I decided to organize the effort this year. I was curious and did a Google search to see if any charities in the United States collected stamps but I couldn’t find any so I will be sending all the stamps I get across the pond.

I will be collecting stamps to send to the Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT) in the UK. Every kilogram (about 2.2 lbs.) of used stamps collected can be sold in aid of the RGT. Their target is £1,5000 ($2345 USD) which is the cost of kenneling a dog for a year.

If you are on Angel Jazzi’s mailing list then you should already have our home address if not then just leave me a comment asking for the mailing address and I will email it to you. Save up all your stamps and after Christmas just put them in an envelope and send them to us (make sure you have enough postage in case it weighs more than one ounce).

If it is easier for you to send your stamps directly to RGT their address is:

Retired Greyhound Trust
2nd Floor
Park House
1-4 Park Terrace
Worcester Park
SURREY
KT4 7JZ
UNITED KINGDOM

Lets shower those retired greyhounds with a ton of stamps…well okay a ton would be a bit too expensive to send but wouldn’t it be great if we had 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) to send them? Please feel free to grab the Save Those Stamps! icon above and promote it on your blog by linking back to this post.

Now before I leave you I have to show you how the Christmas Card Count is going so far this year.
