Hi everyone, it’s Walter here! It’s time for this month’s Chewy.com review. We all love when we see this box get dropped off on our front porch. This month our mom chose Merrick Jerky Chip Treats™ for us.
We tried the Real Salmon + Potato Recipe but there are other flavors of this treat available so if salmon isn’t your favorite we are sure you can find one that suits you.
Millie wasn’t around when I got started exploring the Chewy box.
Mom opened the box for me and let me explore what was inside.
Mom took the paper out and then I hit the jackpot!
After a short while I was getting closer to liberating that bag from the box and that was about the same time that Millie realized what I was doing and came to investigate too.
We decided to read the back of the package to see what these treats were made of.
Here are the details on these Jerky Chip Treats:
Merrick Jerky Chip Treats are oven-baked, all-natural dog cookie treats filled with protein-packed jerky chips as the first ingredient, made from real deboned chicken, beef, lamb, or salmon. Unlike many dog treats, Merrick Jerky Chip Treats are grain-free and gluten-free with no corn, soy or wheat. And, like all Merrick food and treats, Merrick Jerky Chip Treats are made in the USA with no ingredients from China.
The ingredients are:
Deboned Salmon, Deboned Beef, Dried Potatoes, Peas, Garbanzo Beans, Tapioca Starch, Pea Fiber, Olive Oil, Dried Carrots, Brown Sugar, Whey Protein Concentrate, Dried Apples, Caramel Color, Gelatin, Yogurt Powder, Salt, Dried Lemon Peel, Cultured Skim Milk Powder, Mixed Tocopherols (a preservative).
Mom thought the treats look like small chocolate chip cookies but they sure don’t taste or smell like them.
We finally were given the “okay” to eat our treats and I didn’t waste a second pouncing on that cookie.
Millie was daydreaming and was a little slow getting started.
As you can see both Millie and I loved them. They are a great size for a snack and can even fit in a Kong if you try hard (we know because our dad did it). What are you waiting for? Go order some from Chewy.com right now!
Disclaimer: Millie & Walter received one bag of these treats from Chewy.com to review. We did not receive any monetary compensation for this review and will receive no additional benefits for barking about the product or the company. The opinions in this review are the honest opinions of ours.

Hi everyone. I’ve had to turn over a new leaf in my sewing room. It seems that someone likes to rummage through the trash can when he is bored.
That was one day…a few days later I found this…
I don’t think you really have to ask do you Walter? Of course sometimes I forget to put the trash can back up when I’m done working in there and enter to another mess almost every time. In reality I can never get mad at him…could you?

Hi everyone! Today we are joining Dory for Flower Friday.
Last week I showed you all the daylilies we had in bloom so this week I will show you what else is blooming. (Don’t forget you can always click on an image to see a bigger view)
First up is a look at a portion of the north side of the yard.
Now let’s zoom in on the flowers in the above picture. First up is the ragusa rose that is putting on a great show for its second bloom of the summer.
The hydrangea are just buzzing with every kind of bee and butterfly you can think of.
Next up is a favorite of our hummingbirds.
The roseanne geranium are just starting to bloom.
Here are some of the other flowers in the perennial garden.
I’m also joining Sugar’s {This Moment} See Beautiful blog hop.
I hope you enjoyed checking out what’s in bloom in the garden. Next week we will check out some of the critters that use the flowers.

Hi everyone! Today we are joining Dory for Flower Friday.
It’s been a long time since I did a Flower Friday post this year but it’s not for lack of flowers. So here are my excuses…the month of June was the wettest on record for our area so it was difficult to find a nice day to take pictures and the flowers faded fast because of the rain…then because of all the rain we were swarmed by mosquitoes in July! I don’t know about you but I don’t like walking around my yard when mosquitoes are buzzing in my ears and trying to fly up my nose, even though they never bite me. The past month has been dryer so the skeeter population has dropped to a tolerable level making it easier to spend time in the yard.
Enough with the excuses. Today I’m going to show you some of the daylilies we have in our yard. (Don’t forget you can always click on an image to see a bigger view)
I hope you enjoyed checking out our daylilies. Next week we will check out the other flowers in the yard.
