Chewy box

Hi everyone, it’s Millie & Walter here! Happy Halloween! It’s time for this month’s Chewy.com review. We all love when we see this box get dropped off on our front porch but this month our review item came in a padded envelope.

I wonder what is inside! Come on mom why can't we open it yet?

OMD! I can't stand the wait any longer! I'm just going to look the other way...I don't care any more.

Millie you won't believe what is in here. It doesn't smell like treatss so I'm not really interested.

The most amazing thing is that we received two of these envelopes with the same thing inside (just different colors). We let Miss Sydney know about the mistake and she said we could give the extra one away to anyone we want.

What do you mean we don't get to keep both of them? I don't mind since I don't play with toys much.

That's okay as long as I get to keep one of them. I know just the perfect friends to send it to.

Here is a close up of what it is.

We decided to keep the pink one and give away the yellow one to some deserving friends. The gals we chose to receive our extra one are going to love playing with it. You can read all about this toys’ great qualities by clicking on the link above.

Let’s get on to the toy test. Since Millie isn’t much of a player Walter decided he needed to run this toy through its paces. You can see some of the action in this video.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to see it.

Here are a couple of action shots in case you didn’t watch the video. If you can get your human to throw it for you it is lots of fun to fetch.

Oops! I almost ran past it.

Oops! I almost ran past it.

If you look close at the package above it says that it can fly up to 85 feet! Yeah right, but not if my mom is throwing it. She was lucky to get it to go 87 inches!

Before you give it back to your human be sure to shake it around a lot.

Tugging is so much fun...if your human can hold on for more than 2 seconds.

Mom was afraid I was going to pull her shoulder out of its socket so she didn’t hang on very long. What a wimp!

This is a great toy! Thanks Chewy.com!

As you can see Walter loved playing with this toy. It’s soft and flexible so it’s easy to throw or just to prance around with it in your mouth. What are you waiting for? Go order one from Chewy.com right now!

Hi everyone it’s Walter here. We sure have been enjoying a colorful fall around here.

Let me show you around the yard.

Let me show you around the yard.

Don’t forget that you can click on any image to see it bigger (I strongly suggest you start with the first picture…BOL).

First let me show you our Katsura tree that is in the middle of the yard.

Mom and dad say this is the best fall color we have ever seen on this tree in the 25 years they have been living here (boy that must make them older than dirt). Next up are a couple of Japanese maple trees.

Now let’s go in for a closer look at that tree on the left. It almost looks like it is on fire!

In the back of the yard one of the most colorful shrubs is just starting to turn color.

Here is the view from the back of the yard looking towards the house showing the Stewartia, Maple and Hickory trees.

That Stewartia tree is a little one compared to the other two but it sure puts on a great display of color.

Last but not least our dad caught this shot of a beautiful rainbow over our backyard a couple of days ago.

Rainbows always make us think of our angel sisters and friends that are living on the other side of the Bridge.

I hope you enjoyed this peek at our fall colors.

It’s a good thing we got all those pictures because we had some big winds blow through yesterday that knocked most of the leaves off the trees.

Mom is very busy with more crafting projects (something about a wedding shower gift for her niece) and will be out of town later next week (for the shower). We haven’t been able to comment much but we have been reading all our friends blogs and commenting when we can.

HugsfromOTWDebButch-2

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. Today we are joining our Blogville friends, Hailey & Zaphod (visit their blog to see the blog hop), in sending all the hugs we can to The Three Little Pugs, their Mom Deb and Dad Butch. As many of you know Butch had an accident at work a couple of weeks ago and has been hospitalized since then. To add to the stress Deb’s mom is currently battling breast cancer. We just want them to know that all of us are here for them and wish we could be there for them too.

Millie is going to kick things off by showing her technique.

Nothing better than a big kiss and hug to start your day!

Now it’s Walter’s turn. Here he is giving our Angel Grandpa Chuck a hug and kiss too.

I loved giving my Grandpa a hug and kiss.

I loved giving my Grandpa a hug and kiss.

If we were in Iowa with you we would smother you with hugs and kisses. Of course we would be very gentle with Butch since he is hurt.

As our mom said, one of the saddest things about being Blogville residents is that the only support we can lend someone in distress is our prayers and comments. If we lived nearby we would be sure to lend our support by keeping the pugs company while their mom Deb was visiting their dad in the hospital or bringing a meal to your family.

We hope the Stella Rose, Angus Mac, and Maggie Mae won’t mind us sending these hugs to their pawrents. We are sure when their dad comes home he will be smothered with love from them too.

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. Wow our secretary (my mom) sure has been slacking the past few weeks and I apologize for that. She does have some excuses like having two big quilt club meetings just one week apart. She is the membership secretary and has a ton of work to do to get ready for the meetings. Then she took a class, and in the middle of it all she had an order from her Etsy shop for 8 custom bandanas. We will show you those on another post. We are way behind in reading all your posts and are trying hard to catch up. In order to catch up we are reading with very few comments. So we hope you haven’t forgotten about us. Just to remind you what I look like here is a picture of me snuggling with my daddy while we were watching TV last night.

It doesn't get much better than this!

I hope you all have a warm and cozy day and get lots of snuggles too.
