Hi everyone, it’s Walter here! If you remember a few days ago when I did a review for Chewy.com I mentioned that there was something else in the box for me to review.

{{muffled voice}} I think there is something great in here

{{muffled voice}} I know there is something else in here

The other thing I got out of the box was a bag of Pet Naturals of Vermont Calming Treats.

Here is a picture of the back of the bag too (you can click on the images to make them bigger and read all about them).

You might be wondering why I would be reviewing something like this. Well if you lived with me you would know. It might not come across in our blog posts but I can be a bit of a hyper guy. Let me give you a couple of examples. When I know my pawrents are getting ready to take us out for a walk (changing into the right clothes for example) I get very excited. Mom and dad have said I probably expend almost as much energy before the walk as I do on it. I also get excited when company comes over and tend to jump straight up towards their faces if mom or dad doesn’t give me a command to sit quick enough. So far we don’t have any videos of this but if you want an example of kind of what it looks like you can go look at this video.

If you don’t remember from my DNA test or couldn’t tell just by looking at me I’m mostly boxer. One thing mom and dad didn’t realize was the higher energy level that boxers can have when they decided to adopt me. Of course they aren’t sad they adopted me but sometimes my energy can be a bit tiring for them.

Walter - with calming treat bag

So let me get back to our review. Mom saw these treats on the list of choices and thought it would be good to try them on me. Believe me Millie doesn’t need anything to calm her down so mom said the test would be all up to me.

OMD! These things are tiny!

Mom let me try one right away…

Let go of it mom!

Let go of it mom!

After that she put one in my food at breakfast. The package says you can feed more but we just stuck with one per day. Well, after taking the Calming Treats for one month my pawrents have to report that they saw no discernible difference in my behavior. I will say that they are very tasty treats but maybe a dog like me just needs a higher dose.

We hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year!

Hi everyone! It’s Millie here. Today I’m going to tell you about the great pressie package I got from my gift exchange partner Pippen from My Life with Scotties. Thanks to Oreo and his mom for putting all of this together for us.

Millie - unwapping stuffie bone

Something green and fluffy is in here

Mom helped me pull the pressies from the box and then I carefully took the tissue off.

This one smells fantastic!

Wow Pippen you are a really great shopper. Now it’s time for some taste tests.

Millie - tries Christmas treats

Mom let me try both cookies and they were fantastic! After the taste tests I stepped away for a quick drink and when I got back this is what I found.

I know Walter really loves playing with stuffies so I let him have it for a little while. Mom took it away before he totally destroyed it though. Thanks again to Pippen and to Oreo and both their mom’s for making the gift exchange possible. I love all my pressies.

Don’t forget to start sending us your stamps when you think you’ve received all your Christmas cards. Just leave a comment if you need our mailing address. We will also give an update on our card count soon.

Hi everyone, it’s Walter here! It’s time for this month’s Chewy.com review. This month we are reviewing two items for Chewy but I’ll just tell you about one today, the KONG Holiday Jumbler Football Dog Toy!

{{muffled voice}} I think there is something great in here

{{muffled voice}} I think there is something great in here

The first thing I got out of the box was the KONG toy. (You will have to wait for another day to see what else was in the box)

Hurry up and take the tags off this mom so I can start playing!

Hurry up and take the tag off this mom so I can start playing!

This is the Large/X-Large size which is perfect for me. It is a nice hard plastic and as you can see there is a tennis ball trapped inside. Mom let me play with it inside for a while…

This is a great toy

This is a great toy

…but I had the most fun playing with it outside, especially with my dad’s help.

My mom made a video of all the action from opening the box to playing outside.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to see it.

As you can see  I loved it. It’s a great size and the handles make it easy to hold in your mouth. Since we received this toy I play with it almost every time I’m out in the yard, especially if someone is there to throw it for me. I love to play fetch with it. The plastic is very sturdy and the squeaker is positioned under one of the handles so you can’t easily destroy it and the football shape makes it bounce in every direction. If you love to play you should go order one from Chewy.com right now!

I give this toy four paws and one tail up!

Oh yeah you might wonder why I, Walter, was doing this review…

There's nothing like a good old fashioned stick

There’s nothing like a good old fashioned stick

…Millie prefers a stick to any fancy toy in the yard. BOL!
