Hi everyone! It’s Millie and Walter here! It’s time for our February Chewy.com review.
This month we are reviewing WHIMZEES Brushzees 30 Day Dental Dog Treats in the large size.
There are other sizes of treats available too.
According to Chewy.com:
“Veterinarians believe in brushing every day, and we’ve made it easy with our new 30 day packs! Brushzees are made with ridges and grooves that can help reduce plaque, tartar, and bad breath, and feature the patented Pawfect Paw Pad developed to help paws grip the chew more easily. Brushzees are limited ingredient, GMO-free, gluten-free, grain-free, vegetarian, and completely without artificial flavors or colors. A Brushzee a day keeps the doggie dentist away!”
Some of the key benefits of these treats are:
- Long-lasting treat is designed to keep your pup busy chewing!
- Effective in helping to remove plaque, tartar and bad breath while also satisfying that natural urge to chew.
- One month supply! Feed your dog one a day to support healthy teeth, breath and gums.
- Limited ingredient chews are gluten-free, grain-free, GMO-free and have no articifial colors, flavors or preservatives.
- Uniquely-shaped chews are crafted with grooves to help clean the smaller spaces between dogs’ teeth, and ridges to help ensure proper blood flow through the gums.
Check out the video to see how we enjoyed these treats.

Well that sure took a long time. In reality it took Walter about 12 minutes and Millie about 15 minutes to finish the treats.
Overall we just loved these treats and as a bonus they are good for your teeth. We give these dental treats 8 paws up.
Now here is a note from our mom:
Hi everyone. It’s mom Cindy here. I was very impressed with how long it took the pups to eat these treats. Their teeth and jaws really got a work out from chewing them. The only issue I have is that they are a bit pricey. A box of 30 in the large size costs $54.99 which is $1.83 each (smaller sizes are cheaper). To give these as a daily treat for both of the pups would cost over $100 per month.
Currently we give the dogs a Pedigree Dentistix (which are also available at Chewy.com) every day and they are more cost effective. I do think that the Whimzees would do a better job at keeping their teeth clean than Dentistix so I could see giving them a Whimzee every few days. If you are lucky to have a smaller dog then these would be a good option for you.
This month we are joining Koru Bear for the Chewy.com blog hop.

Those do look yummy!
And we have tried those but like you said they are pricey…cause I think they come from Europe.
Benji gobbles even hard dental chews, and these too get the gobble treatment.
So even though he is not a big dog, at about 20 pounds, he has to have big treats to slow him down. The best one so far in keeping him busy is a CET Chip.
they look fabulous and we bet they are as good as the hedgehogs and the gators …or even better?
They look sooo yummy! I am an aggressive chewer and mom is afraid that I will break off large bits and swallow them whole. Great review, guys!
That looks good. But #1 says that since Chewy refused our money, we won’t be buying anything there.

Ollie
Mom says it’s too bad so many of the treats are cost prohibitive for larger dogs. Those looked really good. We got the computer to boot up FINALLY.
OMCs Millie and Walter that box of Chewy Chews is most colorful and eye catching and obviously very tasty too
Hugs Cecilia
Wow! We are also impressed with how long it take them to chew these…we have another brand that we power through, we may need to get these every few days too!!

Those look so yummy! Did you get to play in the box, too?!?!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Those look really good. I’ve had several different types of dental chews, and I usually get done with them in a matter of minutes. Maybe this type will be better.
Hmmm, so they take a long time to eat??? Maybe there is hope for us with these because we usually swallow greenies whole:( Maybe we could get Mom to try them too, but that is a bit steep for three bigger dogs.

We absolutely love those Whimzees and Chewy’s makes it easy to enjoy them. Excellent review!
You two sure were enjoying that yum!
Was anyone gassy after the chews?
So far no gas but Millie definitely didn’t digest it fully. The evidence showed up today. 😉
Yes! aren’t Whimzees wonderful. Do you know that Mom usually buys me X-Large BOL! I get to chew for a while and then it gets put up for another time. I only get mine a couple times a week but it sure helps keep my teeth clean

Hazel too ( who has hardly any teeth to chew with)
Wow, those sound good, all except for the price!?!?! That is too much but perhaps we could try them less often. Thanks for the review!
That was a great review. We like the fact that they are long lasting and actually do some good. Some of those products can be gulped down rather quickly, which scares our mom.

Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened and let me see those bright teeth and smell your fresh breath.

Charlee: “Whimzees! Dennis used to get those!”
Chaplin: “Except his were shaped like hedgehogs. I think he got that shape as his way of getting revenge on the ninja hedgehogs.”
Charlee: “Or maybe it was because there was a picture of a vizsla on the box.”
Chaplin: “Could be that, too.”
I just found your blog and Its amazing. My Pup Would Also Love those but they Would be expensive for us as well 🙂
