Hi everyone! It’s Cindy here. There is always something new blooming in our yard now. I like to call this our white and purple/blue phase. Let’s start with the trees and shrubs that are blooming now. (Don’t forget to click on the images to see a bigger version.)
The althea (or rose of sharon) looks more pink than violet so it is the only exception to the color theme. Moving on to the perennials. I know I’ve shown you our clematis already but here are some more shots.
I just love how the flowers cover the top of the trellis in deep purple blooms. Here are a couple of close ups of the flowers.
The agastache is a favorite of the hummingbirds. Next up are a couple of the hosta that are blooming. We have so many different varieties that we have forgotten what they are.
Last but not least is one of the new additions to our perennial garden.
We chose this variety of monarda for its mildew resistance and so far it is holding up well. We’ve seen lots of bees, and some butterflies using them and even the hummingbirds go to them.
I hope you enjoyed this stroll around the garden today.
We are joining our friends Arty, Jakey and Rosy for their Nature Friday Blog Hop. You should pop over to their blog to see all the other posts.
Your flowers are always beautiful but that clematis…W-O-W. Incredible. 💜
Your flowers are just magnificent!

Words pale by comparison to these beauties! YAM xx
We love taking a stroll and seeing all your beautiful flowers. They are blooming better than ours here at the office. This heatwave is really bad right now. Thanks for the share. Have a great upcoming weekend.
Mom says she could stroll around your garden all day long. It is so beautiful. All the flowers are lovely, but her favorites are the hydrangea, that rooster monarda, and the clematis. Thank you for sharing your beautiful world.

Our poor hydrangeas are feeling the heat and look rather wilted now. Love your Althea, my Mom has one and when I was little I used the blooms to make necklaces. And your clematis looks amazing. Tuiren and Fenris send their Love.
What breathtaking shots of some beautiful flowers!! Again…I just love your backyard!!
So pretty!
We have lots of bee balm here (Monarda), and the hummingbirds go to them all. We need to find that mildew resistant type, cause as soon as the humidity goes up the mildew thrives. Ugh,
You really do have a beautiful yard! I really love seeing your photos, and the hard work you put into your flowers, trees, etc., really shows! Your clematis, and the rose of sharon are gorgeous, and another of my favorites! Both are what I don’t have in my yard, thanks to my nemesis, the brown-marmorated-stink bug – But with their numbers declining, I’m hopeful I will again sometime. Thanks for the fun tour of your beautiful colors!

Wow, wow, and wow! I love your purple clematis! The color is my favorite. You photographed all of them so well. The image of the White Hosta blew me away!
Lovely! But Henry would correct you. It’s not hosta, those flowers are pasta!
LOL,
Mom

We enjoyed it! Your garden always makes us smile and feel a bit envious.
Wow double Wow x 87!
Around these parts many homes in a particular area of town open up their gardens for tours. Let me just say yours is 87 xs pretty than any of the ones I’ve seen on the news or in the paper.
Hugs Cecilia
Wow! You’ve got some lovely flowers! Our clemetis are almost done, and what blooms are left have been eaten by Japanese beetles. Yesterday we saw a hummingbird in the bee balm. We’re keeping an eye out for that bunny too!
I am so partial to white flowers, the ones you posted here are gorgeous!
Looking very Purty over there!! Bloom ON!
Your yard must be so beautiful!
