Hi everyone! It’s Millie here. The weather hasn’t been very good for getting outside in the yard lately. We’ve had rain and gloomy weather so our yard is a bit too muddy for mom and dad to let us out to play.

I’m giving the weather a big raspberry!

The weather peeps say we might get more sun tomorrow so I hope the yard dries out enough for a play session. In the mean time we are helping our pawrents in the kitchen. It seems that the new restrictions due to the virus have given them more reasons to do lots of cooking and baking.

We are all doing well with the social distancing thing here and hope you all are too. Stay safe and healthy my friends.

Hi everyone. It’s Millie and Walter here. It’s been sunny and cold this weekend but that didn’t stop us from spending time outside.

What a lovely day it was today!

We had fun laying around and watching dad do some yard work.

We hope you had a nice day to enjoy some time outside. We’re joining The Cat on My Head for their Selfie Sunday blog hop.

You should check out the hop to see some of the other selfies. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie here. There isn’t much nature to show in our yard right now but we found a few things.

I found lots of sticks to chew on.

There is only one thing in bloom around here right now and that is the witch hazel shrubs.

Red Witch Hazel

Yellow Witch Hazel

The red witch hazel has lots of blooms.

There are some flowers that aren’t blooming but still putting on a show.

Dried Hydrangea Flower

So many sticks, so little time.

We had some high winds today so there are lots more sticks on the ground to chew. I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the nature we have around our yard. We are starting to see some leaves popping out of the ground but it will be weeks before we see any more flowers.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie and Walter here. Like most you the world we’ve been staying close to home.

We had beautiful weather over the weekend.

The yard was finally dry enough for us to get out and do a little sniffing…

…and a little wrestling.

We hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.

Hi everyone it’s Cindy here. Today I’m joining the Hookin on Hump Day blog hop to show you the progress so far on my Kaleidoscope blanket.

I’ve spent many weeks crocheting a variety of triangle shapes since my first post about this blanket and finally this week we’ve been able to put some of those pieces together.

A large section on left and a small section on the right.

Each large section uses different combinations of colors and is unique.

Two more sections

There are also 4 different combinations of the small sections that we make two of.

Third pair of large and small sections

I still have one large section and one pair of small sections to join. Here is how the pieces will fit together when it’s completed.

Blanket layout with joined pieces so far

You can see that the large section in the lower right of the picture still has to be joined as well as the small section to its right and the same colored small section in the top left.

The grey of the blanket I laid these parts on is a perfect match for the grey that is in the Kaleidoscope blanket (although none of these triangles have any grey in them except for the joining yarn that you can’t see on the back).

I’m enjoying the work on this project as well as the extra work I’m doing to create the stitch charts for the various parts. As you can see there is still a lot of work to be done but I didn’t lay out the 36 squares I’ve already made as they weren’t part of this joining process.

Hi everyone. It’s Walter here to share my sleepy selfie.

Can’t a dog ever nap without a camera clicking to wake me up?
