Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. The weather sure has been crazy around here lately. This morning it was snowing and the snow actually stuck around for a few hours but then the sun came out and melted it all. It was cold and windy though.
The area around this stump has some lovely little bulbs that are blooming right now. Don’t forget you can always click on an image to see the full size.
These are one of the sweetest smelling flowers you could ever sniff.
As you can see there isn’t much in bloom right now but our daffodils have buds on them and some of the other spring flowering shrubs are getting ready too.
The weather is going to be like a roller coaster ride for the next week. There will be some warm days and then a few cold ones (about 20° F or more swings). The cold doesn’t bother us but we hope it stays mostly dry so we can get out and play. We hope all our friends and their families are staying safe and healthy.
We are joining the LLB Gang for their Nature Friday Blog Hop. You should pop over to their blog to see all the other posts.
We love the Chionodoxa in all the different colors and we sure do wish we could sniff that pretty plant. It got real hot here Wednesday Mommy went got some flowers to plant and she had on SHORTS it was in the 80s and hot and humid. Today Mommy says it is freezing well it’s in the 60s and she is back in sweatshirts and pants. So we are having roller coaster weather too. We would invite you over but Mom says we have to do Social Distancing. She has the sad cause the grandkids won’t be here for Easter.
We like your pretty early Spring flowers. Here in Aberdeen too the warmer weather is putting in an appearance only in fits and starts.

You both look so happy to be in your garden and why not, eh? Those wee blooms are a new variety to me – presumably bulbs? So very pretty… and I am fond of Viburnum. thank you both for bringing us out with you! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Your flowers are so pretty and yes, we would love to have the scratch and sniff feature!
You two sure do look happy on your out n’ about and those flowers sure are pretty!
Pawsome pics.
Millie and Walter what a gorgeous opening photo of you two posing like pawfeessionals. Thank you for the tour of your beautiful flowers bursting forth.
It was dang chilly here last night in the 40’s. Storms tomorrow and then 80’s on Monday. Mother Nature needs to have her mood swings adjusted
Hugs Cecilia
This weather has been insane lately! We have some daffodils now, but the snow and wind have knocked them over. The grape hyacinths are getting started now. Hopefully things will settle down soon.
Hope you are all safe and healthy, and have a happy Easter!
You guys have such pretty flowers (and amazing images of them). Hope the weather starts to settle. It’s 70 today but will be in the low teens tomorrow and Monday. 😳Awk!!
Gorgeous blooms…so hardy if they’re surviving through the crazy temps. Getting outside for a romp is soooooo important! Play on!
Lulu: “At least the flowers are still blooming while the rest of the world is going crazy!”
What beautiful flowers, just in time for Easter!
Happy Easter!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
The flowers are really beautiful! I have to say, spring flowers are among my favorites, and yours are why they are. And I also love the photos of Millie and Walter – I can’t help but smile seeing them too!
I hope you all had a good and memorable Easter!
Oh, now we think you have helped petcretary figure out the unidentified blooms she had amongst her blue bells.
Lovely pictures, you pups!
Such pretty pictures! (And lovely canine friends!)
Thanks for sharing those beautiful flowers! Your human sure does know how to take pretty photos. And you two look so majestic on that stump!
