Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. Christmas was a few weeks ago but we waited until after New Year’s Day to see if we had any late arriving cards before we did our final tally.
The last card to arrive was from our uncle Paul who lives in Connecticut which is about 350 miles away. It took 4 weeks for it to make it to our house!
The card enclosed in this late arriving envelope was so appropriate for this year. You can see it on the far right ribbon. It’s a dark gray color and on the cover it just says “WTF”! BOL! Our uncle has a great sense of humor.
We haven’t been very happy with the postal service in this country lately. Our mom mailed a package to her mom on December 14th and it finally arrived yesterday over 4 weeks since it was mailed. She mailed another package to the same town on the same day and it arrived 2 weeks ago!
We’re very thankful to all our friends and family that sent us cards, both snail mail and email.
As usual we crushed our parents in the card count again this year.
The final card count is:
Millie & Walter
19 Snail Mail cards
14 e-cards
Total Card Count – 33
Mom & Dad
13 cards
We want to finish this post with a picture of just our cards so everyone that sent us one can try to find theirs (we even printed out all the email cards). Just click on the image to biggify it so you can see your card.
We also want to thank our readers and friends that sent cards to The Ladiez of Beaglebratz Manor and their mom. All reports are that you helped to make their Christmas a little happier.
We’re joining Comedy Plus for their Wordless Wednesday blog hop.
The cards are very pretty, but you two make them even prettier. Lots of wonderful cards this year. The one from your uncle made me laugh out loud.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups. ♥
Beautiful display of all your cards! We got some crazy late ones, too…BOL!
that is beautiful… and we hope kim can read our card around easter….
You guys got a LOT of beautiful cards! We just received one yesterday from our friend Miss Candy, who lives in MD. It has been a very nutty year for the post office.
That is a fantastic display of cards. And they come with lots of good wishes inside. Mom and Dad had one card come from upper NY that also took four weeks to get here. Postmarked 12/7/20 and arrived Saturday!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
that is a lot of cards, for all of you. since we don’t send cards, we got about 6 I think from diehard family/friends that keep sending no matter what. I did not count the email cards, but a few… we were not aware of the mail problems because we don’t send or recieve. the only mail we get is advertisments that go in the reccyle as soon as they land. we do have what bob calls the midnight mailman, they always came at 10 am and got later and later and now it is between 5:30 and after we go to bed. he gets 3 magazines because he refused to read them on line.
Your uncle is a hoot! Love his card. Congrats on all those greeting cards. You’re right, mail service has been abominable. It took nearly a week and a half to receive a check from a local bank that’s less than 9 miles away. I sure hope they start getting their act together.
Great job!! Another fun greeting card season for sure!!
WOW, that is a really nice bunch of cards, y’all sure did good!

That’s a furbyoulush wall… and a mighty fine seasonal crochet there too!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
What a wall of cards! Wowwzers! You guys rocked the cards! Have a wonderfully Happy Day!
Your cards are pretty and look very pretty how they are hung, too. I especially like the bricks that stick out so that something can be set on them. Our mail service is really bad, too. It seems to have gotten progressively worse since the carriers started being contractors, more and more, instead of employees.
We got a card on Monday! The mail doesn’t always make sense. Congrats on your big win!
Wow! That’s a lot of cards!
We saw the ATCAD card, but were wondering if you got the one with the stamps in it. With the mail the way it is it may still be in the mail as it was really close to Christmas when we mailed it.
Those are a great set of cards, and we love your scarves too!
Your card display is lovely! It’s so pretty I would hate to take it down
Lulu: “Wall! Of! Cards!”
