Hi everyone! It’s Millie and Walter here. We always like to share some of the nature we find in our yard on our annual Christmas card so today we will give you a close-up view of the nature pictures on this year’s card.
Our mom loves trying to capture pictures of the birds in our yard. They move fast so sometimes she has to get lucky to get a good picture. This is one of her favorites this year.
You know we love all the flowers in our yard, but our dad had fun this year taking pictures of the dahlias in a nearby arboretum. This pink one is a real beauty!
Many of the flowers we have planted in our garden are attractive to all sorts of pollinators and butterflies.
That clematis is a non-vining or bush clematis, and our parents enjoy watching all the bugs that use it.
Finally, we have a look at a frosty Rozanne Geranium.
For those of you that aren’t on our Christmas card list here is a look at both sides of our card this year. Feel free to take a copy for yourself.
We hope you enjoyed seeing the nature pictures from our card this year and we wish all of you that celebrate it a Very Merry Christmas!
We are joining the LLB Gang for their Nature Friday Blog Hop. You should pop over to their blog to see all the other posts.
Hey Charlie, Cindy, Millie and Walter
Happy Happy Merry Merry wishes to you all and all the critters in your beautiful garden
Hugs Cecilia

How beautiful and we never there there was a bush clematis. Merry Christmas to you and your peeps, Millie and Walter!
The bird on the tree is our favorite too. It’s so close and detailed, we can almost tell what it feels like (in our mouths, BOL!). Oh, wait, Santa hasn’t come yet. Just kidding. (Mom, can you please erase that last comment?) XOXOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
Always enjoy your parents sharing scenes from nature, Walter and Millie. Absolutely love that Rozanne Geranium!! We’re jealous you have some snow. Merry Christmas!
We’ve had a new bird in our area this summer who loudly sang a song we’d never heard before. We tried in vain to identify it, but were never able to actually spot it. Well, yesterday we were very lucky to both see it and hear it as it inspected the suet feeder by the window. To our surprise, it was a Carolina wren! Have you ever seen one of them?
Happy Christmas!

A bit late to the party, but a happy 2022. Love the photo of the two of you at the top. And your card arrived well before Christmas, so I was able to enjoy it for a long time.
