Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. We’ve had a roller coaster of weather here this spring. One day it’s nice and cool and the next it’s like a blast furnace.
We’ve been helping our parents with the garden this spring. There is always something in the perennial garden that doesn’t make it through the winter, so dad has been planting a few more shrubs in there.
There are lots of flowers blooming right now with more still to come.
Those roses sure do smell sweet! We hope you enjoyed seeing how our garden is shaping up this season and we will try to keep you posted about all the other things going on here.
We are joining the LLB Gang for their Nature Friday Blog Hop. You should pop over to their blog to see all the other posts.
Your yard looks beautiful! Mine is improving, but I need more time (patience for plant growth) & muscle to get rid of the overgrown & overtaking weeds. But spots are looking much better.

simply beautifurs, Walter… blooming marvellous! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
You have such a lovely garden. The flowers are beautiful – especially that stunning Siberian iris. Remember not to let any naughty fox terriers anywhere near…
Cheers!
Gail.
Wow, what an exquisite garden tour. It looks so tidy and beautiful unlike our helter-skelter cottage garden. Have a great weekend and hope it’s jot too hot for you guys.
Argh, sorry about the typo-should have said “hope it’s NOT too hot…” My fingers were flying a little too low apparently. 😉
That’s a really lovely garden you have. I can see why you like to help. I help my mom too but mostly in the security department. Chiweenie Arthur
Millie and Walter you have such a beauiful garden!!! Your yard looks like it’s so relaxing and I can tell your home is lovely too!
Thanks for that great and beautiful report, Walter!
We could help your Dad dig the holes when he needs to plant new shrubs…we only charge treats!
Your gardens and flowers are so gorgeous, Walter! All of your hard work shows.
Hi Walter, Tuiren is thrilled to see you. We all think your yard looks great. Our flowers are mostly waiting for Fall now as it is super hot. There are somethings that like our summer weather and they are blooming nicely.
glad you have a day good for outside temps, we are really hot and will get no cool days until mid november. this is our swelter in a giant green house effect for 4 months. like others freeze for 4 months of winter, we melt for 4 of HEAT… you look amazing today, we have missed seeing you
We too have had awful weather! This is the coldest spring Mom says she can remember. But after the blast furnace last year, we are NOT complaining! What a glorious garden you have! The flowers are gorgeous! We can’t wait for ours to start blooming. Thanks for visiting us and sharing not only your garden, but photos of you too! Purrs Marv

Hi friend, Ojo here! Wow, what an amazing garden! My person does not make gardens like that! Also you look very handsome out in your Yard!
What a pretty garden. There are a few yards in our neighborhood with front gardens like that, but our Mom said she doesn’t want to have to weed one, BOL! XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
WOW, y’all have done a wonderful job and your garden and your flowers are so pretty. You two look fabulous as always!
Walter, thanks for showing us your beautiful gardens. Your peeps work very hard to keep it looking so nice. It is hotter than He## here too. We are really sick of it.

The weather has also been crazy here! One day the a/c needs to be on, the next we are looking for gloves! Spring has been wild!
Java Bean: “Your yard looks great, Walter! I could run in so many circles there!”
Lulu: “Our Dada was just talking to his family back east and they said it never got out of the 50s yesterday. They said it felt more like March than June. Mother Nature seems to be very confused these days!”
Your garden is beautiful and the flowers lovely!
Woofs,
Ollie
