Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. Just another view of us snoozing on the big bed. The weather around here lately has been far from ideal. We had an ice event a few days ago and the yard is like trying to walk on an ice rink. Needless to say, we’ve been spending much of our time like this.
Today’s temperatures are above freezing for the first time since we got all our ice so it’s melting nicely. We hope the weather where you are is better than here, but from what we’ve heard on the news, even our friends in California have had some snow!
We’re joining The Cat on My Head for their Selfie Sunday blog hop. You should check out the hop to see some of the other selfies. Thanks for stopping by.
we had the same storm too!!! It was awful!! We’ve been doing a lot of laying around as well!
Awww, so precious.
Have a fabulous day and week. ♥
But it looked SO pretty … and pretty dangerous, with lots of limbs down and electrical outages. Our neighborhood was luckily. Hope yours was, too.

You are close enough to be in a single shot, so that is just fine! Over here, spring has been doing its best to arrive early, but I suspect Ma Nature has other ideas, as it is feeling frosty tonight! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
You both look so happy snoozing away. Best to stay inside where your footing is safe.
It think you two have the right idea, that’s much better than ice skating. Love your snoozy Ussie!
Cute sleepy selfie.
If it’s icy you are so much better inside!
You know how to spend a cold day
You guys do look comfy on your nice big bed. Here in Scotland the weather has been unusually mild, for once.
Walter, it’s always good to respect a girl’s boundaries…
Having a nap is definitely the thing to be doing globally these days. At least until summer hits these shores.

it is a good idea to stay inside, ice is dangerous to canines and people. Hope it melts soon and the two of you can get outside. I don’t like to be touched when sleeping either
Oh Walter I cracked up in my mind’s eye I heard Millie ‘say Mom tell Walter to stop touching me’.
Ice is 87 times worse than snow. Nuttin’ can move about in it. That is what we normally get when freezing precip is predicted
Hugs Cecilia
Hi Walter. You two look very comfortable on the big bed! That’s the best way to spend a cold day!
Great selfies! You two look nice and cosy there. Black and white does make for some really great photos.
Java Bean: “Ayyy, it’s true! We were at the park this weekend and we could see snow on the higher hills that are inland from us!”
Lulu: “I just wish we could’ve gone out there to play in it …”
Most of the 1/2 to 3/4 inch layer of ice here has meltted, except where its in the shade all day, that part is stll hard and extremely slippery, and the more so wih the buckets of rain we had today.
Hope you’ll get some nicer weather, Millie and Walter. Then you can go and enjoy the outdoors again.
So Millie isn’t a touch dog, huh? Well, at least not with her brother, BOL! It’s nice to just be together, in a warm, comfy place, and leave the cold and the ice outside. Lots of love to you both.
At least the ice storm last week wasn’t as bad as the Ice Storm of 1991. Still, it was no fun. (I’m so thankful I didn’t have to go to work during those few days.) But the puppies Rosie and Baby had a great time slipping and sliding around the frozen yard!
We didn’t get an ice event here but got lots of snow with more on the way.
What a gorgeous shot of you two! None of us let any of the others touch us here either. We have not had an ice event, but the freezing and thawing and snowing and thawing and freezing – our whole yard is an ice event! We will be happy when the spring weather starts. Keep being awesome guys! Purrs Marvelous Marv
Before he passed in 2011, my dog Gambi used to do this every day, and he would refuse to sleep without me on the same bed 🥲
I adopted a cat now, she’s wonderful but she’s a Diva 🐈😹
