Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. We wanted to show you our final Christmas card display before it was taken town.

2100 - Walter with Final Christmas Card Display - lr

We love all the cards we received.

We received some of the cards after the holidays were over but the latest commers were from the furthest away. The long-distance record for us this year is from New Zealand!

Let me lay down so you can see them better.

Since our ribbons were getting full, we put the last couple of cards on the stones that stick out with the stuffed toys. Here is a view without me in the way.

You’re supposed to look at the camera, Millie.

Our mom prints out all the e-cards we get so we can display them all on our ribbons. We wanted to lay down so you could see your cards.

Here’s the money shot mom was hoping for.

This morning was the first day in over a week that we had sunshine, so mom took the opportunity to take these pictures. It can be very dark where the cards are hung so every bit of light helps. There may still be a few more cards arriving so we will be sure to let you know a final count after Christmas.

Flowers For My Love!

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. Today I want to celebrate the life of my girlfriend, Tuiren, who left for the Rainbow Bridge about a week ago.

TUIREN-Forever

We enjoyed many Blogville events together and I was honored to be her boyfriend for many years. I know she is feeling young and frisky now that she is romping over the Bridge and someday, we will be reunited.

I will always love you, Tuiren.

In honor of Tuiren, I want to share some beautiful dahlia pictures my dad took over the course of the past couple of months at the Webster Arboretum.

The local dahlia society has dug out all the tubers and will keep them safe until they can be replanted next year.

I hope you enjoyed seeing all those beautiful flowers.

As some of you might have heard there is an exceptional winter storm happening in western New York state, but rest assured we aren’t being affected by it. We had a dusting of snow this morning and shouldn’t get much more than that. Don’t worry though we are sure to get our fair share this winter.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie and Walter here. We always like to share some of the nature we find in our yard on our annual Christmas card so today we will give you a close-up view of the nature pictures on this year’s card.

Millie and Walter 10-28-21-1 - lr

Let’s see some of the interesting nature from our card this year.

Our mom loves trying to capture pictures of the birds in our yard. They move fast so sometimes she has to get lucky to get a good picture. This is one of her favorites this year.

You know we love all the flowers in our yard, but our dad had fun this year taking pictures of the dahlias in a nearby arboretum. This pink one is a real beauty!

Many of the flowers we have planted in our garden are attractive to all sorts of pollinators and butterflies.

That clematis is a non-vining or bush clematis, and our parents enjoy watching all the bugs that use it.

Finally, we have a look at a frosty Rozanne Geranium.

For those of you that aren’t on our Christmas card list here is a look at both sides of our card this year. Feel free to take a copy for yourself.

We hope you enjoyed seeing the nature pictures from our card this year and we wish all of you that celebrate it a Very Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone. It’s Millie and Walter here. We’ve gotten lots of Christmas cards from friends and family and from all over the world.

We’re both sitting nicely.

Dad’s got some good treats so that helps!

We donned our holiday scarves and posed with all the cards we’ve received so far. This year our mom printed all our e-cards on card stock so they aren’t curling.

All this posing is making me tired.
Come on Walter! Usually I’m the one laying down.

As usual we’re beating our pawrents on the card count.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. Christmas was a few weeks ago but we waited until after New Year’s Day to see if we had any late arriving cards before we did our final tally.

These are all the cards we received.

The last card to arrive was from our uncle Paul who lives in Connecticut which is about 350 miles away. It took 4 weeks for it to make it to our house!

Check the postmark! This was mailed on December 11th and arrived on January 7th.

The card enclosed in this late arriving envelope was so appropriate for this year. You can see it on the far right ribbon. It’s a dark gray color and on the cover it just says “WTF”! BOL! Our uncle has a great sense of humor.

We haven’t been very happy with the postal service in this country lately. Our mom mailed a package to her mom on December 14th and it finally arrived yesterday over 4 weeks since it was mailed. She mailed another package to the same town on the same day and it arrived 2 weeks ago!

Here’s what I have to say about our postal service lately. A great big raspberry!

We’re very thankful to all our friends and family that sent us cards, both snail mail and email.

Hey Millie, aren’t all our cards pretty?
I love seeing so many cards on our wall.

As usual we crushed our parents in the card count again this year.

The final card count is:

Millie & Walter

19 Snail Mail cards

14 e-cards

Total Card Count – 33

Mom & Dad

13 cards

Thanks for helping us beat our parents again this year.

We want to finish this post with a picture of just our cards so everyone that sent us one can try to find theirs (we even printed out all the email cards). Just click on the image to biggify it so you can see your card.

Look at all those beautiful cards.

We also want to thank our readers and friends that sent cards to The Ladiez of Beaglebratz Manor and their mom. All reports are that you helped to make their Christmas a little happier.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. Today we are thankful for all our friends from near and far who send us cards each year.

Thanks for all our cards!

That picture was taken a few days ago so here is a picture of our cards as of today.

Christmas Card collection as of Christmas Eve

We printed out all our e-cards too so they could hang with our paper cards. This year as usual we beat our pawrents in the card count.

The current card count is:

Millie & Walter

13 Snail Mail cards

14 e-cards

Total Card Count – 27

Mom & Dad

12 cards

Two of our pawrents cards came from pet stores and one even had coupons inside. The coupons are probably okay since they will no doubt be used to buy us treats and toys. There might even be more cards coming since our postal service has been pretty slow this year and if so we will do an update.

If you weren’t part of the card exchange and didn’t receive a card from us here is our holiday card to all our readers.
