Sun Puddle Snoozing

Hi everyone! It’s Millie here. The weather has been on a roller coaster this past week and we’ve gotten a lot of rain with it. Since the grass hasn’t started growing yet our backyard is still a bit muddy, so we don’t get to play outside much.

This is how I like to spend my afternoons.

We’re supposed to get some more rain and a couple of days of sun this coming week so you should be able to find me here most of the time.

Selfie Sunday – Hanging Out on the Bed

Hi everyone! It’s Millie and Walter here. The snow finally arrived here this past week, but it didn’t stick around for long. We did have a little fun playing in it before it disappeared though, so we were a bit tuckered out after that.

Just hanging out over the edge of the bed here.

These pillows can be slippery!

We’re looking forward to the start of spring tomorrow although we know that snow can still fly until mid-May around here.

Another Sleepy Selfie Sunday

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. Just another view of us snoozing on the big bed. The weather around here lately has been far from ideal. We had an ice event a few days ago and the yard is like trying to walk on an ice rink. Needless to say, we’ve been spending much of our time like this.

It might look like we are close, but we are not touching. Millie would never let that happen.

Today’s temperatures are above freezing for the first time since we got all our ice so it’s melting nicely. We hope the weather where you are is better than here, but from what we’ve heard on the news, even our friends in California have had some snow!

Sleepy Selfie Sunday

Hi everyone! It’s Millie here. Just another view of us snoozing on the big bed. We hope you enjoy the Super Bowl or whatever you like to watch tonight.

He’s right behind me. Isn’t he?

We’ll be right here watching the big game tonight but mostly we’ll be watching the commercials. It’s always fun to see if there are any good commercials featuring animals. Our mom hopes there is one with those beautiful Budweiser horses.

A Relaxed Selfie Sunday

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. We had some very cold weather like many of us in the USA this week, so most of our days have been spent lounging around the house.

There is nothing better than hanging out on the big bed. I like using one of the pillows for extra cushioning.

There hasn’t been much sunshine but when there is some it’s always nice to warm your belly! The weather is going to warm up this week and we hope to get more sunny days too.

Selfie Sunday – Final Christmas Card Display

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. We wanted to show you our final Christmas card display before it was taken town.

We love all the cards we received.

We received some of the cards after the holidays were over but the latest commers were from the furthest away. The long-distance record for us this year is from New Zealand!

Let me lay down so you can see them better.

Since our ribbons were getting full, we put the last couple of cards on the stones that stick out with the stuffed toys. Here is a view without me in the way.

Selfie Sunday

Hi everyone. It’s Walter here. Take a look at this great portrait my dad took of me.

I can’t wait until spring gets here.

The weather has been on a roller coaster around here. We had some really warm days, but it didn’t melt all our snow and then we got a few more inches the next day. It’s easier to get around the yard with most of the snow gone though. I hope you all get to enjoy some time playing in your yard too.

Dreamy Selfie Sunday

Hi everyone. It’s Millie and Walter here. Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and we are dreaming of our sweeties.

My guy, Fenris, sent me a lovely card for Valentine’s Day.

Isn’t he so handsome?

My gal, Tuiren, sent me a lovely card too.

I wish I were with her where there is green grass and warmer weather.

We had some warmer temperatures this past week but we’re heading into much colder weather for a couple of days. It sure would be nice to be with our sweeties down south in Mississippi. We hope all our friends have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
