Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. We heard that today is Christmas Card day. Now we like to wait until closer to Christmas to share ours with all of you but we do want to show you our display.

I don’t have to look at the camera if there aren’t treats!

Millie was the first to show up when Mom wanted to take some pictures but she always does her best to avoid looking at the camera.

I always pose nice for mom.

Don’t worry if you have sent your card and don’t see it yet. We took these pictures a couple of days ago and have received more since.

Are we almost done posing?
I don’t know but I hope we get a cookie for all this effort.

We can’t wait to see those ribbons behind us fill up with all kinds of cards from our friends all over the world. We would also love to see our friends help make a long time Blogville member who hasn’t been able to blog for a while get lots of cards too.

Do you remember Maizie & Shasta?

The Ladiez of Beaglebratz Manor haven’t been able to blog for a while since their mom’s eyesight has not been well enough to manage it. A couple of years ago Kim and her pups moved in with her sister to make life easier.

Maizie, Mom Kim and Shasta

In addition to her failing eyesight Mom Kim was diagnosed with cancer in late August. When our mom was preparing her Christmas card list this year she contacted Kim’s sister, who always posts for her on Facebook, to ask what her address was so we could send them a card. Her sister also said she would love it if we would share her address so we could help make Kim and her girl’s Christmas just a little brighter. If you would like to send them a card here is the address:

Kim Brooks, Shasta & Maizie
1738 SW Stone Crest Dr.
Topeka, KS 66615

If you would prefer to send an email card you can send it to us and we will deliver it to Kim’s sister. Just leave a comment letting us know you have an e-card to deliver and make sure your email address is included in your profile. Our mom will contact you via email to request your e-card for Kim and the girls and then send it along to them.

Let’s all help make Christmas shine for these great friends of Blogville.

It’s been a rainy gloomy day here today but you can still find interesting things to photograph. Charlie found this spider web covered in droplets on a shrub in the yard.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. Remember a little while ago when we showed you a photo shoot we had in our living room? Well after we were done we had a little fun.

Let’s wrestle, Walter.

You’re on, Millie!

Here is a little video of some of our action.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to view it.

You know you want to bite my neck.
That’s a good idea.

We sure had fun unwinding with a little wrestling after our photo shoot.

Even though we are a bit wordy today we’re joining Comedy Plus for their Wordless Wednesday blog hop.

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. We’ve been enjoying some cooler days which allows us to get out in the yard.

Here is my super model pose.

A good stretch will help keep me going.

The weather is heating up again but we should still be able to enjoy some outside time.

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. I’m a day late here but better late than never. What am I late for? My Gotcha Day!

Thinking back over the years I sure am lucky to have landed in this home.

Seven years ago I first set foot in my forever home. Millie & I were best friends right from the start and we still are.

I have lots of great memories from my first seven years here.

We may have slowed down a bit but we still enjoy playing and hanging out together. I can’t wait to see what the next seven years have in store for us.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie and Walter here. We’re a little late in posting but we didn’t want to miss out on this special event. We chose an event that we both excel at and is something we do in our yard at least 3 seasons of the year.

We are experts in stick chewing.
Or mulch making depending on how you look at it.

There have been a couple of high wind events in the past few weeks so there are plenty of sticks to work on.

I like to give the sticks a good sniff.

Then I get to work on chewing it up.

Just so you don’t get worried neither of us eat the pieces we break off. We just love to leave piles of chips in the grass.

This stick has a great earthy flavor.

It’s not too hard to break apart either.

We have fun looking for the perfect sticks every time we are outside.

Do you like to chew on sticks too?

We had fun participating in the first ever (and hopefully last) ISO-lympics and want to thank the Downunder Daisy crew for hosting it. You should stop by their blog to see what some of the other participants did for their events.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie and Walter here. Like most you the world we’ve been staying close to home.

We had beautiful weather over the weekend.

The yard was finally dry enough for us to get out and do a little sniffing…

…and a little wrestling.

We hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.
