Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here! It’s time for this month’s Chewy.com review. The weather was so nice last week that we did our review outside.

What’s in the box?
I don’t know but it sure smells good.

This time we are reviewing a  Nutro Crunchy with Real Peanut Butter Dog Treats. There are other flavors available too.

Now I see the treat bag!

Here’s a look at what was in the box.

According to Chewy.com these treats are:

“Made with high-quality protein from chicken as the foundation of the recipe, it’s packed with wholesome goodness and flavor—with non-GMO ingredients like oatmeal, peanut butter and real, ground roasted peanuts. Each resealable bag is packed with crunchy bites perfect for when your pal has the munchies, or for training, too. Plus, from the chicken to the peanuts, everything is sourced from trusted farmers and suppliers and made in Joplin, MO.”

Some of the key benefits of these supplements are:

  • Crunchy treats are made with whole brown rice, oatmeal, high-quality chicken and peanut butter for a dose of flavor and protein.
  • Packed with tasty, real peanut butter and roasted peanuts for the taste dogs love—give them out of the bag or toss them for some treat-chasing action!
  • Zero GMO ingredients, by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy protein or artificial ingredients so it’s also good for pups prone to food sensitivities.
  • At only 5 calories per treat, it’s great for anytime snacking or as a training treat, and can be part of a healthy, balanced diet.
  • Proudly made in Joplin, MO in the USA with the finest, high-quality ingredients from around the world; comes in an easy-to-open resealable pack.

Those treats are pretty small.

At least they are kind of hard to break into smaller pieces.

We are ready for the taste test.

Did I just see the chipmunk over there?
Over where?

Millie the treats are right in front of us!
I swear I saw that chipmunk.

It’s kind of hard to tell the treats from the dirt but they are the light brown things at the bottom of the above picture. Check out our video of the first taste test to see what we thought of them.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to view it.

As you can see we scarfed them up real quick. Luckily since they are so low in calories our mom let us have some more.

These are nice and crunchy.

You can let go now mom!

We give Nutro Crunchy with Real Peanut Butter Dog Treats 8 paws up (because that is all the paws we have) and we recommend them to all our friends.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here! It’s time for this month’s Chewy.com review.

What did Chewy.com send us this month?

What’s in this bag?

This time we are reviewing a 60 count bag of Nutramax Cosequin Maximum Strength (DS) Plus MSM Soft Chews Joint Health Dog Supplement. There are other Cosequin supplements available too if this one isn’t quite right for you.

What’s in the box Walter?
Mom said it was for me this month.

Why is it just for me, Walter, you ask? Well, Millie has been on a Cosequin supplement for quite a while so when this came up for review mom and dad thought it was a good time to add a joint supplement to my diet too.

According to Chewy.com:

“Cosequin plays an important role in maintaining optimal joint function. Healthy articular (joint) cartilage is crucial to joint utility. Cosequin helps support cartilage production and protect existing cartilage from breakdown. Cosequin is the only glucosamine sulfate supplement that has been shown safe, effective, and bioavailable in peer-reviewed, published, controlled, U.S. veterinary studies.”

Some of the key benefits of these supplements are:

  • Cosequin maximum strength with MSM contains glucosamine and chondroitin for mobility, cartilage and joint support, as well as omega-3’s for a healthy skin and coat
  • Supports cartilage production and protects existing cartilage from breakdown
  • Use Cosequin to help your pet be healthy to climb stairs, rise, and jump
  • #1 veterinarian brand for joint support
  • Moist and tasty soft chews that your pup will love

Those don’t look much like medicine.

Do you think mom will let me try one even if they are for you?

Yes, even though these will mainly be for Walter (since Millie already has a different one) we both got to try a couple for this taste test.

During the first 4 to 6 weeks a dog of Walter’s size (about 50 lbs.) is supposed to have two supplements per day. After that the dose is reduced to just once per day.

I think I’m going to like having these with my meals.

Thanks for letting me try them Walter.

Even though these are supposed to be good for you they taste great too. One of the “other ingredients” listed is fish oil and they do have a bit of a fishy smell but we like that!

And now some words from our mom: “We have to be honest that we aren’t sure we will be able to see much of a difference in Walter’s movement from taking this supplement. He is a very active and, at times, very bouncy boy. He hasn’t really slowed down since the day he joined our family. We do think that since he is over 5 years old now it can’t hurt to have him add a joint supplement to his diet. Since Chewy.com offered one this month to review we felt it was a good time to start him on it.”

Millie & Walter give Nutramax Cosequin Maximum Strength (DS) Plus MSM Soft Chews Joint Health Dog Supplement 8 paws up (because that is all the paws we have) and we recommend it to all our friends.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here! We are here to do our second Chewy.com review for the month.

What’s in the box this month?

This time we are reviewing Wellness CORE Grain-Free Marrow Roasts Hearty Beef Recipe Dog Treats. There are other flavors available too.

According to Chewy.com:

“Wellness CORE Grain-Free Marrow Roasts Hearty Beef Recipe Dog Treats are a great tasty snack. The crunchy biscuits are baked with real marrow centers. These tasty and tantalizing treats have a delicious center that’s packed with vitamins and minerals. Pups can’t keep their paws off of them!”

Some of the key benefits of these treats are:

  • All natural ingredients with no wheat, wheat-gluten, corn, soy, artificial colors or flavors
  • Treats are high in iron, calcium, zinc, Vitamins A for optimal health
  • Made from real beef and no by products
  • Quality assured and made from finest globally-sourced ingredients
  • Only 5 calories per a treat

Those treats look delish!

Do you think we will get both segments at once?

Of course our mom broke those pieces in half and only gave us one little piece each.

We don’t have any video this time because our mom goofed up and didn’t hit the button to start it when she said the magic “okay” word. It’s all right though because we ate them so fast there wasn’t much to see.

Now we get the other piece.

These are great. Can I have another one?

Millie & Walter give Wellness CORE Grain-Free Marrow Roasts 8 paws up (because that is all the paws we have) and we recommend it to all our friends.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here! We are here to do a special Chewy.com review. A little over a month ago we received an unexpected box from Chewy.

What’s in the box this month?

When we opened it we found a box of Onguard Flea & Tick Treatment for Dogs, 45-88 lbs. (There are other sizes available for smaller pups too.) Unfortunately we had received our monthly flea med application just the day before this box from Chewy.com came. We decided that we would just wait a month and use it for our next treatment.

Front of the box

Back of the box

We read the box carefully and also checked online to get all the details before we let our pawrents apply it to us.

According to Chewy.com:

“Onguard Flea & Tick Treatment for Dogs offers an effective and convenient way to keep your pup protected from pests. This fast-acting topical treatment kills all life stages of fleas and ticks on dogs at least 8 weeks old…and helps control infestations of chewing lice and sarcoptic mange mites. With the time-tested and commonly used fipronil and (S)-methoprene as its two active ingredients, Onguard breaks the flea life cycle and rids your dog of fleas that can cause flea allergy dermatitis. Not only does it wipe out adult fleas, but it keeps new eggs from hatching. This powerful formula keeps killing Brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, Lone Star ticks and Deer ticks that may carry Lyme disease for up to a month.”

“Application is easy—just squeeze this spot treatment onto your pup’s skin between the shoulder blades. Onguard is long-lasting and waterproof, so it still offers protection even after a bath or if your pup gets caught in the rain.”

To open each application you just snip off the top with a scissors. Then you let your pawrents apply it to your back between your shoulder blades. We don’t have any pictures of us getting the treatment because our pawrents like to work as a team with dad holding us and mom applying the flea medication.

Here I, Walter, am after mom put the Onguard on me.

Just a little closer look. You can’t really see it but there is a little wet spot from it.

Here is Millie after her treatment.

At a closer look you can see some of it on the surface. Millie’s fur isn’t quite as thick as Walter’s so it comes to the surface a bit easier.

After we got our treatments we were rewarded for being good pups with a cookie. We had this flea treatment about a week ago and can report no adverse effects or any fleas or ticks on either of us. Now we’re going to turn this over to our mom so she can give you her two cents on Onguard Flea & Tick.

Hi everyone. It’s Cindy here now. Millie & Walter normally receive K9 Advantix II Flea & Tick Treatment for Large Dogs 21-55 lbs which is also available from Chewy.com. One of the reasons we use K9 Advantix II is because in addition to protecting the dogs from fleas and ticks it also repels and kills mosquitoes and repels and prevents blood-feeding by biting flies.

Our property has a creek running across it with some swampy areas so we unfortunately have a lot of mosquitoes every summer. We also are subjected to a nasty biting fly season every year. The K9 Advantix II really makes a difference in combating these two pests as well as controlling fleas and ticks.

The bottom line is that Onguard is a good product if you only need to control fleas and ticks. It is also $11 dollars per pack cheaper than K9 Advantix II and right now Chewy.com is running a special for 50% Off First Pack Limit 1 per customer (conditions apply). We are thankful to Chewy for giving us the opportunity try Onguard Flea & Tick treatment and will use it for Millie & Walter again after the summer is over but we prefer to use K9 Advantix II during the mosquito and biting fly season.

Millie & Walter give Onguard Flea and Tick 8 paws up (because that is all the paws we have) and we recommend it to all our friends.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here! We are here to do this month’s Chewy.com review.

What’s in the box this month?

We are reviewing Natural Balance L.I.T. Sweet Potato & Bison Formula Dog Treats. There are other sizes and flavors available to try too.

Let me get this bag open for you mom.

Mom wasn’t too happy with my help since I poked a bunch of holes in the bag.

According to Chewy.com:

“Limited Ingredient Treats are designed with a limited number of protein and carbohydrate sources. Scientifically formulated to provide high quality nutrition and optimize skin and coat. No bones to pick with this tasty treat!…Natural Balance L.I.T. Limited Ingredient Treats Sweet Potato & Bison Meal Dog Treats are designed for dogs with sensitivity to corn, soy, or wheat products. They’re easily digested so his tummy won’t be upset and the crunchy texture cleans his teeth as he chews.”

We don’t have any food sensitivities but we like the bison and sweet potato flavor.

We can’t wait to try them

These are a nice sized treat as you can see. They make a smaller size for our smaller friends too.

I can’t look at it any longer…the waiting is killing me.

We finally got to try one.

The waiting is the hardest part

Take a look at our video that we took. You sure can see how much we loved these treats.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to view it.

We both think these treats are great and got to try another one. They are nice and crunchy and could easily been broken in pieces.

Thanks for giving me another treat.

These are delicious!

We have to give these treats 8 paws up (because that is all the paws we have) and we recommend them to all our friends.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here! We are here to do this month’s Chewy.com review.

What’s in the box this month?

We are reviewing Merrick Fresh Kisses Double-Brush Mint Breath Strips Medium Grain-Free Dental Dog Treats. There are other sizes and flavors available to try too.

According to Chewy.com:

“Share even closer cuddles with your furry one with the Merrick Fresh Kisses Double-Brush Mint Breath Strips Dental Dog Treats. This uniquely designed treat has a double-brush action and a special blend of alfalfa extract and natural spearmint oil to help keep teeth clean, fight plaque and tartar, and freshen breath. It’s packed with fresh breath strip pieces throughout for an extra boost of freshness with every bite. The grain-free formula is easily digestible since it’s made with natural peas and gelatin with no potatoes or anything artificial. These delicious treats are safely cooked in the USA without any grains, gluten, corn, soy, or artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.”

We chose the medium size for us since they are rated for dogs from 25-50 lbs. Both of us are right at the top of that range so we could have picked the large size too.

They look like tooth brushes!

Usually we get to try more than one treat during our taste tests but since these are recommended to only have one per day that was all we had.

Those are big treats!

I can’t wait to try them.

We finally got to try one each.

The wait is the hardest part

Take a look at our video that we took. You sure can see how much we loved these treats.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to view it.

These sure are minty fresh

We both think these treats are great.

We have to give these treats 8 paws up (because that is all the paws we have) and we recommend them to all our friends.

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here! I’m here to do another Chewy.com review for January.

What’s this inside the box?

I’m reviewing the Outward Hound Fun Feeder Interactive Dog Bowl. My mom chose the Regular sized Purple bowl for me. The purple bowl is the “easiest” one they have. There are other bowls available that are more difficult.

According to Chewy.com:

“It’s natural for dogs to play with their food. Add a bit of fun to every bite with a Fun Feeder! Featuring meal-lengthening ridges and mazes, Fun Feeders keep pups engaged for up to 10 times longer at chow time.”

The regular size purple feeder has a pretty flower design

I don’t know about you but I don’t play with my food. I just eat it. My mom was happy to be able to try this bowl out because she says I eat too fast. I’ve never had any problems with eating fast but eating fast can cause pups to be more susceptible to bloat and some throw up if they eat too fast.

The best way to show you how it went is to show you the video of me using the bowl. In the video you will also see how I used to eat with a regular bowl.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to view it.

As you could see in the video it took me much longer to eat using the Outward Hound Fun Feeder. Even with the easiest bowl I had lots of trouble getting the food out of the center part of the bowl so the next time my mom only put the food along the outer edge of the bow.

It’s a good thing my mom didn’t pick out either of the more difficult bowls. We think it might be because I have an under bite so it’s more difficult to reach where the dividers are the tallest. Take a look at this other video to see that it’s a little easier for me when the food isn’t in the center.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to view it.

I’ve been using this bowl for every meal now. In the past Millie would get a head start on me because I always finished before she did (even with the head start). Now I start eating while Millie is still outside “doing her business” and she finishes before me now.

The Outward Hound Bowls are top rack dishwasher safe

This bowl is a little tougher to clean by hand but it is also top rack dishwasher safe. I have to give this bowl 4 paws up (because that is all the paws I have) and I recommend these bowls to all my friends.
