Did you know that the stamps that come on your mail can help the Retired Greyhound Trust in the United Kingdom? Yes they can, so I’m asking you to Save Those Stamps! and send them to me.

Walter & Millie with stamps from the 2014 holiday season
I will be collecting stamps year round to send to the Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT) in the UK. According to their website every kilogram (about 2.2 lbs.) of used stamps collected can be sold in aid of the RGT. Their target is £1,500 ($2345 USD) which is the cost of kenneling a dog for a year.
If you are collecting stamps and would like to send them to me just leave me a comment asking for the mailing address and I will email it to you. Save up your stamps all year and when you have some you want to send to me just put them in an envelope (make sure you have enough postage in case it weighs more than one ounce).
If it is easier for you to send your stamps directly to RGT their address is:
Greyhound Trust Stamp Appeal
‘Wings’
Peeks Brook Lane
Horley

UNITED KINGDOM
Lets shower those retired greyhounds with a ton of stamps…well okay a ton would be a bit too expensive to send but wouldn’t it be great if we had 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) to send them? Please feel free to grab the Save Those Stamps! icon above and promote it on your blog by linking back to this page.
Hi Millie and Walter, I have saved quite a few stamps for you, please send an address to I can send them to you. Lady Caroline
This is a great idea … we’ve always thought it was “wasteful” to toss them away, so we are going to start saving them … for YOU … and when there are enough, we’ll let you know, and send them “across the pond” …
I have some more stamps for you. I have misplaced your address–could you please resend. Thanks
Hi Sonja. I’m no longer collecting stamps but you can send them directly using the address on this post.
