Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. We each have something to be thankful for this week. Millie will start us off. 

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 11 years since I came to my forever home!

What a cutie I was back then!

I was a little scared at first. When my foster parents left me at my new home I cried until I fell asleep, but when I woke up, I wasn’t scared any longer because I knew my new parents would love me forever. As you can see in the picture above, I was a small pup with floppy ears when I first got here.

Over the years I’ve added some grey to my muzzle and my ears are now both standing up! I’ve enjoyed every minute of being in my forever home, especially with Walter by my side. Now I’ll turn the post over to him.

I look good for my age.

This week I’m thankful for another year on this earth. I turned eleven this week, but I sure don’t feel old. I still can run at top speed around the yard, although mom and dad discourage it because they’re afraid I might hurt something, and I still jump like my legs are pogo sticks when I’m excited.

My face might not have much black on it like I did when I was a puppy, but I’m still a puppy at heart.

We couldn’t be more thankful to be here in this home for as long as we have and celebrate an eleventh Gotcha Day (Millie) and an eleventh birthday (Walter). We’re joining the Thankful Thursday blog hop and want to remember Brian, the blog hops’ name’s sake, who went to the Bridge earlier this week. Thankful Thursday by Walter

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. Sorry we’ve been gone so long. There really is no excuse other than the weather wasn’t great for getting out and taking pictures and our mom has been working on multiple craft projects (she’ll tell you more about them later).

What do you think I’m thankful for today?

Today I’m celebrating my 9th Gotcha Day! I couldn’t be happier to celebrate 9 wonderful years with my pawrents and my sister, Millie. Whether we are enjoying our backyard…

It’s Wrestle Mania Time!

…Millie and I always have a great time together. I couldn’t have landed in a better home for me. I always want to thank the wonderful people at the rescue we came from, who sadly aren’t doing it anymore, and my foster parents that helped me transition from the sad situation I came from. This day always makes me reflect and wonder how my brother that was also rescued with me is doing. I like to imagine he is as happy as I am.

It’s a nice day today and we are heading out to watch our pawrents do some yard work while we work on removing treats from our Kongs. I’m sure after we come in the scene will look something like this…
