Hi everyone! It’s Millie here.

There is nothing I like better than laying in the grass in my back yard. Most of the time when my mom or dad lets me out to “do my business” I just go lay down in the grass. It doesn’t matter if it is 50° F or 90° F or if I’m in the sun or the shade.

Here is a little action video of what I like to do when laying in the grass.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to see it.

It seems that my rolling in the grass may have caused some mischief with one of my ears. Last week I started shaking my head and my mom took me to the vet. The vet was very nice and cleaned my ear out real good but she said I do have a yeast infection in my right ear. Unfortunately that means I have to get drops in that ear twice a day for 10 days! I’m not too happy about getting those drops but I haven’t been as itchy as I was before going to the vet.

I guess sometimes you have to take the good with the bad because I will never stop rolling in the grass.

Hi everyone, it’s Millie & Walter here. We’re not really sure what is happening around here but our pawrents are up to something. The past couple of weeks they have been taking stuff out of the kitchen and putting them in boxes in the living room.

Then they moved the furniture around in the dining room and put more stuff in there.

We also overheard them saying something about there being lots of noise in the house and how we probably won’t like it very much.

Here is what our kitchen looks like now.

There used to be a table at the far end of the room and a china cabinet against the tall wall on the left.

The microwave is in the dining room now and all the other stuff that used to be on the counters is in there too. We hope our pawrents can find our treat jars in all that mess.

All this is why we are declaring our pawrents up to lots of mischief. We will keep you posted on what we find out. All this mischief is also why our blog visits and commenting has been a little off lately. We hope we can get our secretary to do a better job in the future.

Hi everyone! It’s Millie and Walter here. We don’t know about all of you but we have some routines that we like to stick to almost every day. After everyone has had their dinners we love to do a little wrestling in the living room. Well one day it kind of spilled over into the family room.

First we want to show you what our family room normally looks like.

Family Room furniture in normal position

Take particular notice of the location of the ottoman (with the tray on it). Now watch what happened when our living room wrestling spilled into the family room.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to view it.

Please ignore the dust flying in front of the camera and our crazy eyes. Mom was using her phone since it was the closest thing to her at the time.

Sorry about making all that noise while you were trying to watch your show dad. Usually we just run around the ottoman and then back into the living room but this time we just shoved it out of our way and had a great time.

Do any of you ever rearrange the furniture while you are playing?

April Snow - lr

This is a picture taken through a window at our backyard late yesterday afternoon. As you can see Mother Nature is full of mischief. It snowed overnight and yesterday afternoon it started snowing again. By the end of the day on Monday we are supposed to have about 8 more inches of snow! I thought it was spring?!

We have some daffodils that were just forming buds and now I’m afraid the cold is going to do them in. It’s in the 20’s (about -7 C) tonight and might dip into the teens tomorrow night. We may have to hold out another week before we can participate in Dory’s Flower Friday’s.

Hi everyone! It’s Walter here. Wow did I have some fun recently. When my mom was cleaning out the old TV cabinet she found some toys we had forgotten about. Now you might not remember but Millie doesn’t play with toys so I had lots of fun.

Mom’s friend, Sam, from The Quilting Doberman sent us this toy. She calls it a “slobber ball”.

I didn’t worry about slobbering on the ball. I just grabbed that fleece and starting pulling it out the holes.

I’m not sure if you can tell but it is a stuffed ball that is stuffed in a plastic ball that has some holes in it.

Here you can see that I have ripped the blue cover off the ball in the ball.

I took turns between chewing the blue fabric off and pulling the stuffing out of the ball.

It sure made a huge mess in the living room.

Mom’s going to have fun picking up all this mess. BOL!

Thanks for sending me this toy Sam. I sure had a lot of fun with it and mom got her exercise picking up everything off the floor.

Hi everyone, it’s Millie & Walter here! It’s time for this month’s Chewy.com review. First we have to call out our mom for Mischief Monday. Our last post was 4 weeks ago! Now we give her a pass for about a week or so since she did go away to attend her nieces wedding but what is up with the past couple of weeks with no posts? She has no answer for us but vows to try to do better…we will see.

Okay…enough of that…now we will get to the real reason for this post and that is our monthly review. Of course our mom also waited for the last day of the month to do this and she claims it’s because this month is the shortest of the year but we don’t buy that because it’s leap year so she had an extra day!

Merrick Big Brush Bones Grain-Free Dental Chews

Merrick Big Brush Bones Grain-Free Dental Chews

February is National Pet Oral Health Care Month so most of the choices were some sort of dental chew. We get a different brand than this as a daily treat but since we eat Merrick food our mom decided to try the Merrick Big Brush Bones Grain-Free Dental Chews. These come in three different sizes but since we are big dogs we chose the big size. You can read all about what’s so good about them at the above links.

Of course the first thing you have to do is get the treats out of the envelope they came in.

I love ripping these envelopes!

Here is some video action of that effort.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to see it.

Great job Walter. You can stop destroying the envelope.

Once Walter finally got the treats out of the bag we were on to the important part of the review but of course we had to humor our mom and pose with the bag.

Here is our required pose with the bag picture

Our mom likes the size of these bones for us.

Stop teasing me mom and hand over the treat!

Yum! Thanks mom!

Yum! Thanks mom!

I had to wait the longest to get mine.

I had to wait the longest to get mine so I was really anxious to get started.

It took us a little while to eat these. Here is a little video of that action.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to see it.

As you can see even though it took us a while to finish these we loved them. There is no question this is an 8 paws up (because that is all the paws we have) great treat and we recommend them to all our friends.

I had to finish destroying the envelope to make mom clean up a big mess. BOL!

Hi everyone. It’s Walter here. With all the packages that came to our house during the holidays there were lots of things in them to keep the contents from rattling around. Mom and dad always let me have the bubble wrap, if there is any, to play with.

Walter - bubble wrap fun 1

Here is a little video to give you an idea of all the fun I have. The video is supposed to be embedded below but at the time of publishing this post it doesn’t seem to be working.

If you can’t see the video you can go here to view it.

I just love ripping all that plastic to pieces.

Walter - bubble wrap fun 2

Don’t worry I never eat any of it. The best part is that mom has to clean it all up after I’m done.
