Hi everyone! It’s Millie & Walter here. We’re finally getting some warmer weather and some of our trees and shrubs are starting to open their buds.
Even though the buds haven’t opened yet the Korean Spice Viburnum sure looks pretty.
This spirea has the tiniest flowers but with so many of them on each stem they almost look like they are covered in snow.
We were afraid that some of the cold weather we had might ruin our crop of serviceberries this year but the flowers look like they are doing fine.
We can’t wait to see all the fruit on the tree and have it covered with all kinds of birds that love to eat the fruit.
We hope you enjoyed a look at what is blooming and almost blooming in our yard. With the warmer temps we are supposed to get this coming week we should start to see more flower opening up.
We are joining the LLB Gang for their Nature Friday Blog Hop. You should pop over to their blog to see all the other posts.
It is great to enjoy the warmer weather! Your flowers and dogs are beautiful!
that’s beautiful!!! and now we know the name of the plant we have too in our garden it’s da spice viburnum… thanks ;O)
Those are lovely pictures. So welcome to see things finally coming to life after the long winter.
It’s so good to see Walter, fully recovered! I’m so glad you are getting fruit, because a late freeze and snow killed the prospect of fruit across the state, here. Very disappointing.
Such pretty blossoms! Our pear tree is in full bloom now. But it’s been too cold for the bees to be out to pollinate them. Maybe the bit of warm weather today will bring the bees.
You two sure found some pretty blooms on your out n’ about!
Your flowers are so beautiful and Viburnum is one of mom’s favorites because it smells sooooooooo pretty!

My word, it is one thing to get pretty blossoms… another for the promise of useful fruits to feed other parts of nature! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Hot Dog warm weather and flowers in WNY~~
I know you two and your peeps are thrilled to have your garden all a bloom.
Thank you for the lovely tour
Hugs Cecilia
looks beautiful! My Mom just finished planting everything on our balcony today except for the marigold seeds, she’s going to plant those soon!
Always love the flowers in your garden…so lovely. Roxy would love to try to get that stick away from you Walter.
Beginning with beautiful Millie, and ending with handsome Walter, we loved seeing all the different flowers. We pass several serviceberry trees along our walk. We are going to have to watch to see if the birds eat all those berries. Mom always wonders if they would make a good pie.

Are serviceberries really a thing? Can you eat them? What are they like? Can dogs eat them? Hmm, gotta ask Mom to Google them. Your stick looks good, Walter. XOX Xena and Lucy
What gorgeous blooms! we are so glad things are finally warming up on your side of Blogville!

Pretty flowers!
Those are very beautiful plants you have blooming right now!
We are very glad that flowers are beginning to bloom at your end too. It has been cool for May so far here, but the temps are going up from today
As usual your images blow me away! So beautiful…they make me want to sniff the screen!
So lovely!
Can you believe we already have apples, pears, tons of zucchini and yellow squash.Mom says weeding flowerbeds must be so much easier there. Here the weeds grow all year, Mom threatens to rip everything out and start from scratch every Spring.
Oh, those are some FABulous blooms! I thinks the biggest find is your stick Walter…heheheee What? Oh. Ma says that the blooms are super pretty!
